Despre mine
My name is Ioana Kamata and I have been teaching English for almost 15 years. If I had to say the first thing that comes to mind about myself as a teacher, I’d have to admit that I really couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else and also being happy. There have been times in my life when I honestly believed I could find long-term joy and a deep sense of meaning by practising other professions as well, but my heart has always found a way of bringing me back to where I truly belong – in the classroom, in the midst of my students, passing on to them my great love for language, for communication, for everything that brings people together and helps build bridges between us. To have the opportunity to practise my vocation here and offer my most valuable intellectual and spiritual acquisitions to the coming generations, is one of the greatest gifts I have ever been given and that I am deeply grateful for.
