Despre mine

My name is Amy Arlene Ungureanu and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I graduated from The Masters College in California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. Working with children has been a joy for me and as a result I moved to Romania soon after college to with and NGO teaching and helping children, including special needs. I have taught in the private school system for over 6 years now and have grown from every experience.

When I teach It’s like I’m leaving a piece of me to the children, the learning process is very important but also the values bestowed upon young learners today. It’s important to teach not only with words but by example and action. I hope that I can be an encouragment and example to my students, that they will walk away not just knowledgeable but learning how to be caring, curious, hopeful and independent members of their world.

English should be a fun, creative, and memorable experience so that students will strive not just because it’s a required class but because they enjoy hands on and out of the box encounters. The objective is that students would grow not just in the use of English but also in creativity, self-esteem and communication skills, experiencing the unlimited possibilities offered to day by the knowledge of English.
